Gallatin

Just outside of Hendersonville, Gallatin is a lovely town near Nashville and is a great place to raise a family. Single-family homes dominate the market, so keep this in mind if you are considering Gallatin as a place of residence. It is also located next to the Cumberland River and has access to Old Hickory Lake, but also has plenty of shopping and restaurant options.
